I've tried to take a Character for CW, selected the motion like "jump", then export it as a series of png frames but all I get is the same frame repeated over and over. So if I want a frame range of 20 frames in the animation I'll get 20 frames but all are the same image.

I can click the play button and the animation appears correct.

Again, this is from a character directly from the CW.

I'm not sure why it didn't work. Just to confirm: Open a new document, open the character wizard, click OK for the default. Move to frame 1 in the timeline. Open Window>Actions. Select 'Jump' (single click). Click the 'insert Reference' button. This inserts the jump action into the timeline. If I select the 'Front 3/4' layer I can see this. File>Project Settings>Set end frame to 26. Now export.
