Bondi Pirates
Description
A film I made for TropJR '09.
A 2D animated film using Anime studio for both background design and animation. The characters were designed by Cartoon Solutions .com but animated by the filmmaker using Anime studio.
Props and backgrounds were originals - drawn by the animator on the computer, with the exception of the beach scene which was taken from Content Paradise.com.
The background music was made using Garage Band except for the opening music which was composed by Commander Shafty and is freely available from his website - he is an amateur music composer.
The movie was edited using iMovie which is part of the iLife software for Mac.
Voices were recorded by the filmmaker using pitch change technology to alter his own voice for each different character.
Mr Crab has dreams of being a successful restaurateer and builds his own, unique, restaurant at Bondi Beach out of sand.
Following a series of TV advertisements his fish and chips are an instant hit and he has long queues of waiting customers every night.
Rival restauranteer, Mr Bondi of Bondi Fish and Chips is not happy about his new competition and takes matters into his own hands for a dramatic finale to this short animated film.
