Hey everyone! So as the video says, I was taking WAY too long to create a cartoon intro for this video so I thought I'd better just split it up and show you the whole animation later. However, I don't want to have such a huge gap in time between uploads so I needed to put something up so I just did this first part showing you a couple of special effects on the car before it time jumps. This is just part one, showing a kind of electrical flame burst at the front of the car and then some cool trace lightning effect. It's just part one of the tutorials and I'll be making another one showing you how I make the car disappear, some spark effects and how to make a fire trail left by the tires.
You need pro versions of the program to use particles and whatnot so just be aware!

This is more of a test rather than a tutorial but I wanted to share the process of making and rigging a character with a technique that introduced to me on the Anime Studio Pro facebook page on a post by Paul McGrath. In it, he shared a tutorial about rigging a character so that when you move a part of the body, the body itself will move. It was made by Alexander Ptichkin ( I think thats his name) but it is in Russian so I couldn't understand. Victor Paredes of course came to the rescue and post a response on how he thought this might be done! So this is really just a test rig I had to make because I was so hype about trying the it out! As always there are probably a couple to tips and tricks that might help you guys and gals create your rigs a little faster so you can get to the fun part of bringing you art to life!!!!!

Correction: "I keep calling the mouth one shape, but really it's one object... they are separate shapes connected or joined shapes. The mouth object sits on only one layer." jg
A quick explanation of how I set up a character in Anime
Studio Pro 7 and animate them using point level animation. A great way to add stretch and squash to your characters.
If you find this explanation helpful then please comment so that I know to make more. I could also make some more detailed tutorials.
Thank you for watching.=)

Ah.. at last! the last Southpark tutorial! This one finishes up with creating the body and adding some accessories and shows you how to add and use color styles. While this is a really basic construction of how to make a southpark like character, I think it gives you a really good start if you're wanting to make some southparkish toons! I also wanted to take the time to thank my subscribers and anyone and everyone who has been watching my videos! I've been trying to really build my channel over the last year and a half and I'm amazed at the support that you guys have given me! As a thanks if you'd like this anime studio 11 file just send me a message on face book (just look for poptoogi) and I'll send it to you just so you can see how its constructed and if you want to get a head start on these LONG a$$ tutorials!

This tutorial is to show you all how to use masking to create a gradient lighting effect that you would use for making flashlight or torch effects. It's pretty simple to achieve but you need to make two separate pieces of artwork .
You can do this by using another program such as Illustrator like I did or you can do it in Anime Studio by creating a background, duplicating and then changing all of the colors. I just used Illustrator because it's much easier for me to create backgrounds in it!
Once you've done this, you really only need to use a mask and use the LAYER blur function to make it look more realistic. (if that's what you're going for.)
As always, when you think of masking always remember it is a way to hide or reveal things!!!!!!!!

So here is the second part of making a SouthPark character, you guys. I apologize that it's so long but I try not to edit my videos so you can see how long it actually takes me to do something. I have one more part to go and I hope it's not too long but once it is done you'll hopefully know how to make any type of Southpark character pretty easy.
Keep in mind this is just how I would do it. I'm sure there are several ways to make characters like this but this is just the way I came up with.
The next video I'll be making clothes accessories and just showing how to move the character around!
I know some of you aren't Southpark fans but there are still some good tips and tricks that you can learn from this. The main one being about group layers and swapping out accessories. Anyway, hope some of you find this useful and if you have any questions leave them down below or write to me at www.facebook.com/poptoogi
