Moho (Anime Studio) Tutorials

In this tutorial I am going to show you how to make your existing animations look even better using a feature called Color Points. Shout out to Troy Picou for discovering the potential of this tool!

If you are wanting to animate a character or object slowly appear or disappear you can try using this technique.

You MUST have Anime Studio 11 Pro or MOHO 12 Pro to do this as it uses the new color points tool!

This tutorial uses a combination of masking, color points and some layer settings to achieve this effect.

In this tutorial I'll show you how to morph your character while your animation is moving. Point animation is obviously the biggest part of it but you can also animate color changes as well but BE WARNED Anime Studio is pretty buggy when it comes to animating color changes, especially with color styles. It does work but you have to mess with it no doubt about it. But this could be handy for making animations like Werewolves, Super Saiyan transformations, Hulking out or any other type of transformation you can think of. I made this with Anime Studio 11 so you should be good if you're using MOHO. It might work better as far as keyframes go!

UPDATED in Anime Studio 9.5 - Improvements to Styles now allow you to see real-time changes to shape's fill color, stroke color, brush settings, etc. on the canvas so you can see exactly what effect your changes will have.

The eye dropper now works with others layers not just vector layers.
The selected colour value/number is then saved to the clipboard ready for use.

The paint bucket tool allows you to apply the current selected fill, stroke or both the objects that you click.

Ah.. at last! the last Southpark tutorial! This one finishes up with creating the body and adding some accessories and shows you how to add and use color styles. While this is a really basic construction of how to make a southpark like character, I think it gives you a really good start if you're wanting to make some southparkish toons! Including the output dimensions : width, height and frame rate
Background colour/color
Depth of field : focus distance, focus range, max blur radius
Render style : Fill style, stroke style, layer style and minimize frame-to-frame randomness
Sort layers by depth and Sort by true distance
Noise grain
Stereo rendering : Red/Blue Anaglyph, Side By Side (YouTube friendly), cross-eyed and eye separation
Extra SWF frame
Save as defaults and reset/restore defaults
