D City using the Extrude D layer setting in Anime Studio Pro 9

Pages are made from images which can be changed.
Images 2,4 and 6 need to be mirrored for effect.

This is a reproduction of Matthew Cruickshank's animation that was used to celebrate the 125th birthday of Bessie Coleman on Google.

This version was made 100% in Moho Pro 12 using D layers.

This was a silly experiment using D layers and particles.
You can download the file used to create the video but Anime Studio wasn't happy to create this and did crash on me several times. The render time was also more than 12 hours!

D City view moving forwards

The buildings only use two sides to speed up rendering

2D model able to turn arround and making D effect

First the tiled image is created in Moho and exported as a looped video.
Then in a new document, a D torus shape (created with a circle in a D layer) has this video applied as a texture.
The texture needs to be sized and aligned correctly for the effect to work - trial and error.

Another option is to use a static texture image, and then rotate the circle shape.
