The classic endless four step runs from the 60s TV shows of my childhood. A lot of frame by frame using switches for characters. Each character has a transparent frame to make it disappear. All my drawings were done with a mouse. MP4s of the parts as listed were joined, to eventually make the whole. Then the background music and explosions were added.

It took 15+ hours. Bone and frame by frame is a mixed animation. Attention has been paid to light and shadow, but they are still not sufficient. I am participating in this contest for the first time so i'm happy and excited. The last thing I want to say is; in honor of Lost Marble 8)

As we can't yet use the 'Animated Layer Order' with smart bones, the work around is to control the layers with their Z-axis setting. In the two examples provided you will see how one smart bone moves a layer to the back or front.
The setup:
Frame 0 of the Mainline in the smart bone action (X: +0.001)
Frame 1 in the positive action of the smart bone for the layer that you need to control. (X: +0.001)
Frame 1 in the reverse action (X: -0.001)

Created in Moho 13.5 used a bit of rotoscoping by referencing birds flight in slow motion frame by frame. The final animation was put together in Vegas pro. Music created by myself (included) and sound effects from sound bible (not included) but no video effects or transitions other than fades were added. Hope you like!

This was a great chance to try out frame-by-frame animation for the fire. The fireman character is a derivative of a character licensed from Freepik.com , for which I do have a licence. Further use of the fireman character would also require a licence from Freepik. I have to admit that I spend far too much time creating these animations, but love doing it and am continually learning both Animation techniques and the MOHO program. I hope you enjoy. 8)
Nb. Fireman the world over do a great job, even if I am taking the mickey out of them!
Nb. sound files not uploaded as I the system won't accept ogg files.

This is a file template that is standard for the Japanese animation industry. It has a working time/frame counter that counts the frames and at every 24 frames 1 second will go up. This was configured with the standard Japanese and American frame rate standard of 24FPS. A timesheet and example timesheet is also included. The timer will stop working at 48 seconds.
Additional info there are two Moho files one with the camera set up for Japanese standard 1080p and one at the traditional layout resolution 2338 x 1653 it is important to note 1080p version is recommended and it will automatically scale up when 4K, 8K, and 16k is set and it will also downscale properly to 720p if needed.
Note in project settings AA is disabled as this is the Japanese anime standard. Reenable as needed.
