Just a quick animation attempting to view a virtual world from a cartoon character's perspective. ie. He puts on the googles and sees the real world. I'll leave it up to you, the viewer, as to whether the idea works or not, as I move on to create a second entry for this month.

nb. Unable to include the ogg file with the soundtrack in zip file. It can be found on Youtube Audio Library "June - Bobby Richards"

It was interesting to see how much Moho could do in 3D for this little project. Whilst it is possible to import 3D .obj files into MOHO, I wanted to see if I could create everything within the program. My conclusion after creating this file is that 3D is best left to creating inside Blender, and MOHO is best left to 2D, although I can see some occasions whereby a little 3D could be combined with 2D to get some great results.

I usually do my transitions in Premiere, so it was interesting working out crossfades (I ended up using a short PNG output from the file to create the overlap). Lots of sound, mixed into a single file based on frame matching. Again, not my choice of ways to do sound but hey, the whole thing is exported from Moho! Hope you enjoy. This started as a quick sketch and turned into something longer and weirder.

The Lost Continent

A retelling of the Conan Doyle novel, "The Lost World", featuring none other than the legendary American statesmen Daniel Webster and Henry Clay. Will our two heroes be able to survive in their strange surroundings? Will they even realize that they're in strange surroundings?

As an added bonus, the zip file includes the leopard skin texture that I forgot to package with my Prehistory Mystery files. So once again Og can look his best while dumping industrial solvents.

This was a great chance to try out frame-by-frame animation for the fire. The fireman character is a derivative of a character licensed from Freepik.com , for which I do have a licence. Further use of the fireman character would also require a licence from Freepik. I have to admit that I spend far too much time creating these animations, but love doing it and am continually learning both Animation techniques and the MOHO program. I hope you enjoy. cool
Nb. Fireman the world over do a great job, even if I am taking the mickey out of them!
Nb. sound files not uploaded as I the system won't accept ogg files.
