I made use of 'actions', lots of masking, gradients, shadows. I didn't think this theme would motivate me, until I thought of cave paintings and making them "come to life" – then I had so much fun trying to make it happen. The fire was made watching a tutorial on YouTube by "toonmilk" – his is better I think, and well worth viewing.

'Bones' is created using Anime Studio Pro 10. I used noise properties, smart bones, bone dynamics, actions, perspective shadow properties, and a little help from my dog, Guia, and a bunch of rubber bones. Sounds are all created with my mouth, recorded and edited in Audacity.

Slider Controls in Moho
Slider Controls in Moho

Here is one way to setup a slider control in Moho.

Use the manipulate bone tool (Z) to move the sliders.

Pros: slider control stays on the track, easy to animate with, looks good.
Cons: fiddly to setup, keypoints don't copy on the timeline, and hidden bones can get animated keyframes set.

The trick is to use a large bone to control the movement. This bone is then set as a shy bone and hidden.
