Could easily spend more time tweaking this animation, but have to stop somewhere. The walk cycle is made from scratch and could really do with being re-done entirely, but it was good practise. I hope you enjoy.

This rig uses smart bones to give the animator the ability to open and close the hand
The left hand's rotate bone (LH_rotate) will give the effect of rotation by moving the bones.
The hand was created with simple lines.

I didn't have a lot of time to put this together, but thought it would be fun. I am a beginning animator and have a lot to learn.
My idea was more complicated than my animation skills, but it was fun none the less.
I used some of the stock content from Anime Studio and music from

Tribes is a 5 episode cartoon series created for his church (where he works as an animator in the children's department). It was created for a 5 day summer camp entitled 'Summer Xtreme' (hence the SX logo at the beginning of each episode!). This year their theme was 'tribes' and each grade was it's own tribe:

As a beginning animator, I had fun doing this short animation. The lip sync for the snowmen was pretty involved as the four part singing was done separately so each of the parts had a little different timing. So each part had to be lip synced separately. I guess you would not expect the snowmen to sing in perfect timing, LOL. Silent night was a first attempt of me and my daughter to sing 4 part harmony. She sang two parts and I sang two parts. Learned a lot in the process. Used bone angle targeting for the first time.
