What do you do when confronted with the monster you dread? Perhaps you can run, but you can't hide. Well, one person's monster is another person's hero – why else would so many come out to cheer on the monsters at the Monster Day Parade?
Three tutorials by ShoNuff93 were instrumental for the confetti and for the lightning monster effect as well as the cloth banner carried by the "monsters."

My entry for the Yawning Yak competition.

This is my 2nd test using Anime Studio Pro 10. Character and trees drawn in Anime Studio Pro 10, with imported image background layer, and using the sketchy effect script.

I had forgotten what a good/fun exercise taking part in this competition each month was. Here is my take on the tortoise and the hare.

I made this for the August competition. I tried something a little bit more action packed (action-y?). Hopefully you guys enjoy watching this as much as I did making it! I used music from Adobe Premier Elements royalty free music, song title is "Game End".

I made use of bone targets to the legs, smart bones for head turn, speech & eyes. Colour points on Newt body and puddle. Brush effect (Brush515_1_0_90.png) on background plants & frame by frame for the splash.
