A little more attention to the little details this month. I think it makes a big difference. The run cycle took a little while to learn how to do, but thanks to tutorials by McCoy Buck, it worked out okay.I hope you enjoy.

nb. I still can't upload the accompanying .ogg sound files which are the only sound files allowed in 13.5

Spatial Positioning Sound

Created in Moho Pro 12.1 - Even the 3D toy plane!
This example shows how you can control the sound position from within Moho.

The audio volume was changed to match the Z axis, but the left and right levels are automatically set by moving the audio layer left and right within the animation.

The 3D plane has a copy for the shadow, and both follow a path for the animation.

If you open the audio layer's properties window, and change to the Audio tab, you should find 'Spatial positioning' checked to enable this feature. Here you can also set and check the audio level.

I usually do my transitions in Premiere, so it was interesting working out crossfades (I ended up using a short PNG output from the file to create the overlap). Lots of sound, mixed into a single file based on frame matching. Again, not my choice of ways to do sound but hey, the whole thing is exported from Moho! Hope you enjoy. This started as a quick sketch and turned into something longer and weirder.

Created in Moho 13.5 used a bit of rotoscoping by referencing birds flight in slow motion frame by frame. The final animation was put together in Vegas pro. Music created by myself (included) and sound effects from sound bible (not included) but no video effects or transitions other than fades were added. Hope you like!

When viewing the YouTube MAKE SURE TO SET YOUR VIEWING SETTINGS TO HD720 AND GIVE IT TIME TO LOAD...it was a big file and I couldn't reduce the bit-rate without losing quality.

I started this on sept 7th had a completely different character in vector but the bone system wasn't very good (im a newbie at that) So I used poser cartoon character Mick, hope this will be acceptable those files are included as well. The final film was put together in Corel Videostudio X9 but no special FX or transitions were used. My project got broken up into two separate files (again newbie...) All the sound fx apart from bathroomwater (which is a free clip from soundbible.com) came from Corel which is free to use. The music was recorded in FL Studio 12 written by myself. and is free to use. I did place all the soundfiles in the moho files but used corel to render final output with sound.

Switch layers can be controlled by an audio file.
Switch layer settings > Switch > Select audio sync source.

The layers are selected automatically from the bottom (quietest) to the top (loudest).

In this example, the bar has 30 layers, starting from short to long, and grouped into a switch layer which has the audio sync applied to it.
I copied this switch group 60 times to the right, offset by 1 frame, using the Delayed Layer References tool.
I then grouped them all, copied the group, flipped them downwards and moved this new group down.
