Moho (Anime Studio) Tutorials

If you have used my tutorial on making a character or you have MOHO 12 you may have wanted to make your own custom clothes or you just wanted to tweak something that's already there. This tutorial is to show you how to do that and save time on character creation without having to do a lot of re-rigging or re binding.
It's meant to be pretty easy to do so if you have any questions or comments just leave them down below and thanks for watching!

This tutorial is for anyone who wants to create randomly flickering lights in anime studio. All you need to do is create two separate pieces of artwork (this can even work for photos) and use a smart bone to turn one of the layers on and off randomly. It may not seem easy at first, but once you learn how to use it you'll probably use it all the time!

This tutorial was made to work with previous versions of Anime Studio. You do NOT need to have MOHO to do this!

This is a tutorial on making a muzzle flash. It's not really that long. I just added some character movement at the end which took up a little bit time! It's very simple and only takes 2 frames to make! If you have questions let me know!

After taking all that time to show you guys how to do 2 point perspective in Anime Studio, I thought of a MUCH easier way to do so!!

That's alright though, live and learn! It does has some limitations as the view can get really skewed when working on a larger canvas but the pros outweigh the cons I think. It was just too cool to not share so I just made this really fast for you guys!

UPDATED in Anime Studio 9.5 - Improvements to Styles now allow you to see real-time changes to shape's fill color, stroke color, brush settings, etc. on the canvas so you can see exactly what effect your changes will have.

This is a very quick, super easy tutorial on how to make a kind of shadow character time-lapse effect similar to the super effect you see on fighting games like Street Fighter Alpha or in Anime and movies!
It's very simple. Create an animation, duplicate your character, use a little grouping and masking and mess with the sequencer and some layer effects and that's it!
It may sound like a lot but trust me, it takes about 2 minutes to execute once you've learned it!

New! Animated Bone Parenting - Now you can switch parents for your bones mid-animation and Anime Studio will automatically keyframe the result. Use the Re-parent Bone Tool at any time to reset the parent or un-link bones completely by clicking off the canvas.

This is a video to show you how I lip sync an animation. While a lot of people will say doing lip syncing frame by frame is too time consuming, I think the result is well worth it and one you get a technique down it becomes fairly fast to do. Also, by limiting the amount of mouths you use, the easier it becomes. Hopefully this helps anyone new to anime studio on how to lip sync frame by frame in a efficient and practical way!

This tutorial is really the same a the morphing tutorial but connected to a smart bone action so you can change your character at any time real easy.
This would be great for any characters you need to transform back and forth throughout your animations like a vampire character or a werewolf.
You can also use this technique for other things like animating hair growing or items transforming.
It's quick and really easy to set up once you have a character rigged!
