Ah.. at last! the last Southpark tutorial! This one finishes up with creating the body and adding some accessories and shows you how to add and use color styles. While this is a really basic construction of how to make a southpark like character, I think it gives you a really good start if you're wanting to make some southparkish toons! I also wanted to take the time to thank my subscribers and anyone and everyone who has been watching my videos! I've been trying to really build my channel over the last year and a half and I'm amazed at the support that you guys have given me! As a thanks if you'd like this anime studio 11 file just send me a message on face book (just look for poptoogi) and I'll send it to you just so you can see how its constructed and if you want to get a head start on these LONG a$$ tutorials!

So here is the second part of making a SouthPark character, you guys. I apologize that it's so long but I try not to edit my videos so you can see how long it actually takes me to do something. I have one more part to go and I hope it's not too long but once it is done you'll hopefully know how to make any type of Southpark character pretty easy.
Keep in mind this is just how I would do it. I'm sure there are several ways to make characters like this but this is just the way I came up with.
The next video I'll be making clothes accessories and just showing how to move the character around!
I know some of you aren't Southpark fans but there are still some good tips and tricks that you can learn from this. The main one being about group layers and swapping out accessories. Anyway, hope some of you find this useful and if you have any questions leave them down below or write to me at www.facebook.com/poptoogi

This is part one of how to make South Park characters in Anime Studio. This really only covers the first part of making the head and rigging the mouths. It's very simple but setting up the mouths takes a little bit of time. The other parts I plan to make should go much faster than this one but we will see! I'm just making it up as I go!!

This one is pretty easy to do. Draw a bubble add some text, hide it, reveal it, hide it again! Simple enough but just in case you wanted to add a touch of movement to thought bubbles I thought I'd add that too.
Plus, I got over using curve profiles a bit. It's a tool that many of you have probably never heard of or used but it's really pretty cool so check it out!

This tutorial might be a little confusing because I ramble and I don't edit my videos much so bare with me because this one can REALLY, REALLY help you speed up you animation workflow! Actions have been a part of MOHO/Anime Studio for a long time but I'm kinda slow so I didn't really recognize the power they have and how helpful they will be to anyone learning how to use these programs.
Actions are small (but can be very long and complex) animations that you can save and reuse throughout your animations. They can be tricky to learn but once you do, you'll use them all the time!
Hopefully, I explained it well enough but I'm just getting use to using them as well but if you have questions, just ask in a comment down below. You can also check for other tutorials on youtube that explain actions or go to the MOHO Pro 12 facebook page or SmithMicro official forum if I can't help! In any case, it's something worth knowing!

This is another easy-to-do particle effect that you can use to create confetti in Anime Studio Pro of MOHO Pro 12. It uses a little bit of randomized 3D rotation of a flat square to give the illusion of confetti floating downward and also uses a very subtle use of the noise effect to scatter and simulate wind and to create even more realistic movement. You can use this for parade animations, sporting events and I'm guessing a lot of people might like to use it for New Years Eve animations as well. It only takes a few minutes to set up and create various colors to keep in your library for later use!

So this is very new to me as too, but I wanted to learn how to make sprite animations. It was really easy to figure out how to recreate sprites looking characters in Anime Studio with the grid tool as well as finding good source materials on the web.
This tutorial goes over recreating sprites that you've found on the web but you can also use this to create your own pixel art characters and backgrounds.
I'll probably end up making another tutorial on this when I've gotten it down a little better but this should help you get started anyway.
The small cartoon clips are just fan animations I made for a YouTuber named Dashiexp. He's a YouTuber that does comedy sketches and gameplays. I think he's hilarious and since he plays old school games, he was the perfect subject matter to see if I could make a pixel art cartoon.
You can check out his game channel here!

This is a tutorial on using physics and how to CHANGE the direction of objects within a physics group while animating.
For this, I created the movement of the physics objects first and then animated the artwork after to make them look like they were interacting with one another.

After taking all that time to show you guys how to do 2 point perspective in Anime Studio, I thought of a MUCH easier way to do so!!
That's alright though, live and learn! It does has some limitations as the view can get really skewed when working on a larger canvas but the pros outweigh the cons I think. It was just too cool to not share so I just made this really fast for you guys!
Hope you find this useful!!!

I admit, I'm not that great at making background art in Anime Studio as I'm way more comfortable with other programs like Illustrator because of their tool sets but I also know that many of you would like to know how to do all of your creating in Anime Studio or MOHO so I made this.
It just shows the basic principals of using vanishing points just as you would if you were drawing on paper and truthfully, it get easier and easier as you do it.
This was fun but it took a lot longer than usual for me to do (about 2 and a half hours) as it's still a new process to me as well.
Hopefully some of you guys find this useful and if you have questions about it I can try and answer!
